SCC RoadmapDive into our Sana Commerce Cloud product roadmap to see what's in progress, what's up next, and what's on the horizon for the next 9 months. Keep in mind, this roadmap is a flexible plan, and not everything listed is set in stone for product inclusion.
2024 - Q2
Add-ons - Price per base unit of measure

In addition to displaying the total item price, our product-related content elements will also be able to display the price per base unit of measurement. For example: you can view the price per one liter of paint, together with the total price of the five-liter bucket; or the price per one square meter of flooring, etc.

Product grouping - Sorting in PLP

We are excited to improve our sorting feature on a product list page when product groups are used. To limit the data that needs to be managed on product child level, we will improve the sorting behaviour when sorting is done on product title and product groups are involved. The title of a product group will be taken into account as well, instead of the title of the child item.

Product grouping - From price

To offer better transparency to your customers about the actual pricing of products within a group, a 'from' price will be shown if the group is shown on a product list page.

Product grouping - Image in table

When product grouping is used, within the table on the group page allow to show the image per item. Especially if your items differ for instance in color this can be beneficial.

2024 - Q3
Multi-Location Stock Visibility

ERP connector upgrade required

We're planning to introduce a feature that lets you display stock from different locations (warehouses) in the web store. Now, customers can choose to purchase from the nearest location to save on delivery costs or even opt for convenient in-store pickup.

This initial release prioritizes enhancing the visibility of multi-location stock in the web store.

Checkout - 0 value orders

B2B customers are able to place an order with 0,- value as a result of for instance the use of a discount code. We will allow this behaviour for B2C customers as well for a seamless experience for both!

Payment cancellation e-mail

When a customer has placed an order and received an order confirmation, they want to receive a confirmation in case the order is cancelled due to issues in the payment process. This way they are aware of the situation of the order, and can contact the company where they have placed the order to get more details.

Order / payment confirmation e-mails

We will improve the order placement process and the e-mail communication in case there is online payment involved and the payment is not directly received. This way a user will receive first an 'order received' confirmation and when the actual payment is collected, the user will receive a 'payment received' e-mail.
