Visibility of Third-Party Connection Status in Dashboard
Currently, if there is an issue with a third-party connection, such as Adyen, I have to manually navigate to the setup page of the add-on to check its status.
However, there is no proactive message or alert indicating a problem with the connection. This makes troubleshooting inefficient and requires unnecessary effort.
I would like to see a real-time status of third-party connections—including Sana Pay—directly in the dashboard. This would allow me to quickly identify and address connectivity issues without having to dig into individual settings.
Warning or a pop-up before re-importing item categories
As a Sana Admin user I want to see an alert in the Sana Admin after pressing the "Reimport all available categories" button stating that reimport will break the existing catalog structure (if the navigation was created manually) in order to avoid that a Sana Admin accidentally presses this button and causing a lot of manual labor to fully rebuild the main menu structure again. Nobody checks the whole documentation before pressing a button.

Individually allocable product group page templates and article detail page templates
Since product group pages and item detail pages are fully editable, it would be great if several different product group pages templates or item detail pages templates could be created and assigned to product groups or items individually. In this way, the display can be optimally adapted to the properties of the different product groups or articles.
Today, the layout (for both Desktop and Mobile) of the ProductPage is handled as follows:
If there is a change at the level of a specific ProductPage, this is used. Otherwise, the layout of the SystemPage "Product details" is used
One of our customers had to structure the layout of a group of articles in a different way than all the others. Specifically, these articles were to have 3 columns in the detail line instead of the 2 columns defined as standard:
In the first the images are shown.
In the second, the article detail is shown (Title, Short Description, Price, Variant, Quantity, Unit of Measure, etc...)
In the third, related articles are shown (vertically)
In order to do this, we had to manually update all pages one at a time. This means that if we need to change this layout in the future, we will have to intervene on all pages one at a time.This is why we propose the following idea: add a new layer through which you can define the layout of the ProductPage. In our opinion, the layout selection logic could be as follows:
If there is a change at the level of a specific ProductPage, this is used
Otherwise, if a "Group/Template" layout is associated with the ProductPage, this is used
Otherwise, the SystemPage layout "Product details" is used.

Language as Default in Sana Admin
In Sana Admin - when you set up your store and you choose your language this should default across all Sana Admin so that when making changes to pages eg , email templates etc then the default language is the one your store has been created in. At the moment you need to change the pages for example to English - United Kingdom as opposed to EN-US. EN-US is the default across Sana Admin pages when our store is EN-GB.Its an easy fix and would make the management of messaging etc in the CMS much easier and hassle free.

E-Mail html template / E-mail design
Design
It would be great if you had the possibility to configure an email template (html code for the body-tag) in the themes, with logo, footer etc..
As a store admin I want to be able to style the email templates in order to create more attractive emails. Ideally the font and style settings from the theme are used in the template.

Easier management
As a webshop manager I want to have an easy and understandable way of adding replacement tags for the checkout header fields to the order confirmation e-mail template.

Optional identifier for mapping images
If you want to import and map many images at the same time, these must be named according to SKU. If there are several images or variants, there are rules such as SKU_1. In order to ensure the quality of product handling and to have synchronized flows between the supplier, us and customers, we try to use GTIN/EAN. Images retrieved from external sources should be handled according to the GS1 standard in how images are named. Suggestions:That the mapping of image can be optional if it should go to SKU or GTIN (perhaps also the manufacturer's article number). With GTIN mapping, different sales units become unique, and there are ready-made standards for how different sodas are named and displayed. Images that come from the GDSN network follow GS1 naming rules.

Add [Sales Agent Name] to email templates
By adding the option of including [Sales Agent Name] into the order confirmation. I could then set up a rule in Outlook that if the body of the email contains {sales agent name} the order confirmation would be forwarded to that {sales agent}.Currently as SANA doesn't send the order confirmation to the sales agent and our sales agent want to receive customer orders so they know what their customers are ordering - but now they receive ALL the orders for ALL customers as I have not way of filtering theym out.

Send registration email in multiple languages
As an admin of a multi language store, I should be able to send the registration email in multiple languages to new shop account owners upon creating an account, so that they are able to understand the contents of email. This is currently only sent with the default language of the store when there are multiple languages.

Send a notification when there are unprocessed orders
When a website was in maintenance mode, there may be a number of unprocessed orders.  The webshop's customer service team will not be aware of these, as they don't have a need to log into Sana Admin on a regular basis.Therefore, there should be an option to send a notification to a nominated customer services email address that there are unprocessed orders that they need to action.

Send quote confirmation e-mail to sales agent when quote is placed by customer
In version 1.59 it is possible to send an order confirmation to the sales agent when a linked customer has placed an order. We want to make it possible to also create a setting where sales agent receives an e-mail when the customer has placed an order and when the customer convert the quote into an order.

Validate for existing links when deleting a file
When a file is deleted in the file browser, then first perform a check to see if there are any active links to this file in order to avoid broken links to files.

Product set filter expression value wildcard support
In some case, it is interesting to be able to set up a filter expression using something like a wildcard or regular . Something, filter values contain detailed information with different variables. Like a certain connection type on a device, that can be 1x USB A, 2x USB A, 3x USB A, 1x USB C, 2x USB C, 3x USB C, etc.This filter and it's value could be used to be able to select all products that have one ore more USB A connections. Currently, one has to solve this by manually selecting all possible USB A value occurences (1x USB A, 2x USB A, 3x USB) and keep that up to date (A product with 4x USB A could be adopted). Another option would be to expand the product data with another field indicating the types of connections on a device.With a wildcard option, one could set a filter expression selecting all products with value "*x USB A".

Assign a Product Set to Product Indexing Task
Sometimes all we need is few products to be re-indexed to quickly fix a showstopper or to start an investigation or during an investigation of a critical issue that has to do with Products.This can overall save quite of a lot of effort/time taken for product indexing. the same scenario is applicable for Customer Indexing as well.this will significantly increase the maintainability and to provide a better customer support.

Product feed export: Show file path in admin
Currently the product feed export path can only be found in the help site. It would be more convenient if the file path is shown with the option to copy on the add-on configuration screen.

Remove unprocessed order
As a shop owner I'd like to have a possibility to remove unprocessed order manually.
Sometimes an 'offline order' might be stuck in the process which can be the case because of different reasons (something wrong with the product, order, customer, etc), so it cannot be automatically processed successfully. Would be nice to have a possibility to remove such orders.

Search bar for File manager
A search bar in the File manager section that enables you to type in a product code/folder name would make things so much easier, particularly when looking for product folders where attachments need to be added/updated. Much more efficient for shops like ours that sell hundreds of products, where we currently have to scroll through all folders alphabetically.

Export the items based on search
Sana has a feature to filter the items based on, Products without images, Products with missing descriptions, and Products with missing Meta data descriptions. However, it is not possible to export those filtered items to Excel. As a user, I would like to export the item from the product pages based on filtration

Dashboard to show non-translated Sana texts
With the SaaS extensions we will encounter more and more extended addons and custom sana texts. The dev teams will only always focus on the English lang. It would be awesome to have the dashboard show the customers on what Sana texts are not translated fully (into all languages available).
This can also help in the scenario of custom language packs. Sana keeps reducing the standard supported language packs for SaaS (imagine Ukranian, Bulgarian, Slovakian, Romanian etc. and even more). What we do in projects when this happens is to grab the already existing half translated lang pack and upload it to the customer SaaS env. and agree with the customer that they need to keep the languages up-to-date with every new release. This is tricky so it would be ideal that Sana alerts the customer when any translations are broken / missing. The customer can then make it an action point to export, complete, and import the lang translations.

Make Sana generate email on partially successful scheduled task
When a scheduled task in Sana partially succeeds, can it be made to generate an email to store administrators in a similar fashion to how it emails administrators when a task fails.

Report showing how much orders are made on related products
Can there be a way of analyising (report) if after seeing the related items that it prompted a sale on these related products? Was it successful to prompt a sale?

Use Product Attributes as Template tags for automated Meta Description
Within the SEO configuration we can use template tags to complete the Meta Title and Meta Description for Products, but these tags are very limited ... It would be great to be able to use existing metadata and product attributes to complete these fields.

Editing layout only once for desktop and mobile
When we edit the general desktop layout (Web pages > System pages > Product details), we always need to edit the mobile layout, too.
As a content manager, I'd like to edit only once, either the desktop or mobile layout, and changes will always show automatically on both layouts. So we don't need to do it twice.

Filter for orders above a specific value in SCI
In SCI, there is currently no way to track the number of orders made above a specific value. We are looking to increase the number of high value orders placed on our website, but need a metric to be able to track this.
Shop accounts file - Last login & web order date in export
include the 'last login date' and 'last web order date' information for each shop account when exporting the shop accounts file

Product list System Page
We have been trying to improve the look of our product list view.
An experiment was done on this page >> https://www.atkins.ie/en-ie/texasrobotmower/
So you can see the product picture has a border around it and the description under is in blue.
We intended to replicate this on the System page "Product list" so it would reproduce throughout our web site.
But we can see a problem, any product list page we have done any alterations to for example this page
https://www.atkins.ie/en-ie/garden-machinery/mowers/robot-mowers/ which we added a header image to , Sana does not insert the new default product list view.
The only way we can see around this is to go to every one of these pages which we have altered and manualy enter the new view from a preset.. This will be very time consuming..
What would be great would be a button on the System "Product list" page to force the default to all pages. Then the customised page headers etc would stay in place but the product list view would change.

Sales agent representation type added into the shop acc import
Extra requirement to import the sales agent representation behavior - all or linked which is not currently supported in standard
Ability to change "AND" & "OR" operators in product sets and customer segments
When building a product set or customer segment, the only way to 'devide' multiple values is through 'OR'. An example: '[Shop account] Account ID' <> '1234' OR '[Shop account] Account ID' <> '1235'. However, if I want to exclude both customer '1234' and '1235' in a segment, I wont be able to because '1234' is different from '1235' and visa versa.
Adding the ability to choose whether you want to split values by 'OR' or 'AND' makes it easier to make a product set or customer segment that fits our needs.

Import/Export product attributes/specifications
In Sana admin, it should be possible to import and export product specifications and product attributes. Managing the specifications and attributes from Sana admin is troublesome and tedious when you have several hundred attributes.

For product specifications, you should be able to export a csv or xlsx list of both the already defined fields and the available fields. You could then easily define in Excel (or similar) which fields you want included in the specifications, visibility true/false for the different pages and sort order, and import to Sana.

Similarly for Sana Product Attributes, you should be able to manage existing and create new attributes with import/export functionality.

Additionally PIM users should be able to manage this from the PIM and sync to Sana as a scheduled task, ensuring that the product data in Sana is always up to date.
Define postal code range inside the Advanced Shipping Costs setting
as a webshop manager i want the option to add a rule for postal code ranges so that it minimizes the amount of data, entry, rules to manage. example country Germany postal code range 20000 38999

Shipping Costs - upload template with data
As a webshop manager, I need a comprehensive template for managing different shipping costs calculation. This will allow me to efficiently and accurately set rates for different shipping options (e.g country by weight, by postal code). With this template, I can easily manage all the necessary data in one centralized location.
Additionally, I want a user-friendly function that allows me to upload the template directly into the shipping costs setup in Sana. This will minimize the amount of manual data entry and maintenance required, saving me time and effort.
Furthermore, an import and export function would greatly assist with managing the large amount of data involved in freight costs. This feature will streamline the process and make it easier for me to update or transfer shipping information as needed.

Duplicate content from product pages on desktop view to mobile sites
It would be helpful to use the "revert to default" button on the mobile view product pages similarly to how we use the revert to default button on the content pages so that we do not have to upload content twice.

For example: A number of our products utilise lengthy product descriptions that include photos and images. On desktop view we use the content building elements to build complementary layouts that showcase this information in a suitable format for each individual product. However, unlike on content pages where we are able to use "revert to default" to port the information over, we have to re-upload all of the description content again, meaning it takes twice as long to build a product page as it does a content page.

Import/Export email templates
Feature to import / export option via CSV/XLS for email templates. At the moment, Sana does not support custom language packs for SaaS outside of what we provide in the standard list. The alternative approach that we provide is to create a blank language pack as a custom language pack, upload it to the customer's environment and then the customer needs to export the Sana texts and translate and import.
However, since Email templates for now have no import / export option this becomes a manual task.
Highlight if a product page (Product List Page, Product Detail Page, Product Group Page) is modified
It would be really useful to see whether a product page (Product List Page, Product Detail Page, Product Group Page) has been modified. Most customers like to set the pages up in the template pages, however, it's not clear when on an actual Product List Page, Product Detail Page, Product Group Page whether they have been modified and therefore will not inherit any further changes made to the template pages.

A banner or message to say it is customised and therefore is not linked to the template page would be really useful.

Merging 2 content pages, which are already designed, into one page, so that you can just scoll down the contents after competion.
Not yet possible to merge 2 or more already designed content pages into one. Means, to merge 2 or more webpages with different menu points into one just to scroll down the content on the final page. Costs a lot of time to copy content and design elements from one site into the other. Please have a look on this idea and thank you!
Customer / Product Set Rules
To give more flexibility when creating Customer / Product Set Rules:
- Choose the operation (AND, OR) when a set is made up of multiple rules
- Allow use of a Wildcard character
- Create rules where a field is blank - i.e. Customer where Shipping Agent = ''
Include brief description or linked help article when creating these Sets.

Products Not Removed Without Rebuild Index Task
Now you can only plan when the product update runs, it would be good to be able to plan an entire catalog rebuild to run on a schedule as well.

Support for Traditional Spanish Language
In Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, the Spanish language by default has language id 1034 (Spanish (Traditional)).
Sana's Spanish language pack only supports language id 3082 (Spanish (Modern)).
Please add support for language id 1034.
Identify easily the Sana texts that are not translated
Currently there is no way for customers to easily find out which Sana texts are translated and which texts are missing translations. The customer needs to export and check this in excel. It would be ideal that there was a mechanism in Sana to alert the customer of new texts which are not translated (similar to products with missing images).
How this helps:
- Helps with regionalization when we install custom language packs created for a specific version, and the shop keeps upgrading to the latest versions.
- Helps with custom texts that are added by dev teams when we create ADK addons.

Sales revenue measuring based on Product recommendations
It would be valuable if there would be an option to measure sales revenue based on how many customers buy products from the Recommended Product section on the Product details page if the functionality is turned on and additionally based on clicks or any other means and optionally connected to Google analytics.

Bulk Upload Product Attachments
Product attachments are directly related to specific folders. This means that i.e in the case we need to upload 1000 product attachments, one per product, 1000 folders will need to be uploaded through the file manager. Since it does not allow to bulk-upload folders, this is not currently possible. It's extremely tedious and can lead to a huge delay to do this manually, there should be a way to massively upload folders to the file manager.

Content Extension for Add-on development
As a Sana partner (add-on developer) i would love te see an Extension for ContentPages that supports the use of the Content Entity and/or content provider, so that it can be utilized to realize a Content export/import functionality as part of an add-on.

Shipping cost based on dimensions
Now you can setup shipping costs based on weight, order total or fixed amount per country. Transport costs are very often based on load meters or volume. Transport of light weight products with high volume costs more than small but heavy products, eg feathers vs steel parts. Can this option be added to the shipping cost setup ?

MFA Interval
Cybersecurity is really important these days so we've enabled MFA for admin users.
Problem is, every time you login you have to enter the verification code. This is SO many times for admins that we had to turn it off.

Please add an re-authentication interval for MFA. So a re-login with MFA is only needed f.e. every 12h.


Multiple delete of images directly in file manager
The option to select several image files directly in the File Manager and delete them all at once. Currently, you have to go to the product detail page for each individual product and delete the images. As we have made small changes to a product, we now have to click on over 850 products and delete individual images.
Another example of when this would be needed is if a company uploads sequence 7 images for every product, then decides it will no longer use sequence 7 images.

Add Content Elemnt In desktop Sticky
I am reaching out to request a feature enhancement that I believe would provide significant value to users like myself. Specifically, I would like to suggest adding the Cascade Menu content element to the sticky desktop functionality. This feature would allow for more dynamic and user-friendly navigation, especially for users who rely on complex menus and submenus.
Missing languages [Missing translated texts]
Would be great to have an overview of all translations that are missing.
There are so many places to add translations that it is very hard to keep track on the todo when adding a new language.

Sana Admin - Allow DD/MM/YY Format Dates
Currently in Sana Admin. all dates are shown in US MM/DD/YY format. Please allow this to be localised for countries that use DD/MM/YY - it's very confusing at the moment, especially when setting up delivery dates, etc.

Regulating access rights to the file shared file manager folders in case of multi-shops
We start with SANA a multi-shops configuration for several subsidiaries of a same group.
Each shop will have its own back office admin. Through the File manager, the "My content" folder is shared with all the shops. And this creates an important management risk, cause if an error of deleting an element for example is done in this folder, it would be done for all our shops.
So to avoid this, we think that an option of giving an access or not to this folder could be done through the User management control panel, playing with the type of roles each user can get or with a separate option with a checkbox.

Microsoft Power Automate Connector
I would like to be able to automatically create Shop accounts and other features of Sana when certain requirements are met. Since this product already interacts with Microsoft I think Power Automate would be ideal for this situation.
Undo button
Please provide an undo button/CTRL+Z in the backend. Currently, going back to a previous version, when for example designing a page, is such a hassle.

Nav BC - Webshop Logs
The improved webshop logging in Sana CC is amazing compared to Sana 9.2. Very useful when diagnosing issues with ERP requests.

Currently it is only possible to switch logging on or off. As an ERP admin, it would be useful to have some additional options when investigating issues in Live. Given the volume of ERP requests, it's not always practical to have logging enabled on Live.

- Must have - Log only on status failed
- Nice to have - Log only specific operations

Product Page Template Duplication
Product Page Templates are a great addition. However, to use most effectively, we need to be able to copy or duplicate the templates. Often I need the pages to be almost exactly the same, with just a small detail change.
To have to recreate each template from scratch to do this takes too much time, and is open to errors.
If we could copy/duplicate the template and the rename it, the feature would be much more powerful
Related tables fields for facetted filter
Currently the related table field names can be mapped under keyword search, product specification etc but it not supported under filters.

Segment Import/export

It would be useful if we could export segments in csv or Excel format, apply some changes to the file and import it back to Sana in the same or different webshop.

Sometimes segments are very complex and it takes time to create them from scratch, but often we have another segment very similar to it.
Webshop statistics - setting period of retrieved data
While running "Sales statistics import" task sana retrieves all sales statistic available for all customers and there is no ability to add some filters to it without customizations.
We would like the ability to set our webshops' sales statistics to only commence once the store is live, so that we can exclude the pre-live testing from the statistics capture.
Could admin users specify the period of retrieved data (or at least match the start date to the webshop go-live date)?
Product attributes
When on Home >Products>Product attributes >Attributes we create an Attribute with one value type and then discover that it should actually be another type, the system does not allow us to modify it directly. This forces us to delete the Attribute and create it again, with the consequent loss of the previously configured information.

Given this problem, we request that you evaluate the possibility of enabling the Attribute type change in SANA, so that we can preserve the data already assigned and avoid the additional work involved in recreating and reconfiguring all the information.

UX improvements to visual designer
The table/grid style building method is difficult to use and limits the design we've been able to use. When compared to other modulated website building tools, for example Wix, we are offered far more flexibility to drag and drop design elements wherever we like when using competitor products. Managing content between desktop product pages and mobile product pages is difficult because we cannot "Revert to Default" like we can with content pages. This means we have to build product pages twice when setting up new products that use anything outside of the default product description field (which can't support all the design elements we require for our product descriptions, like widescreen photos and/or videos). This doubles the time it takes to set up new products that use identical information between the two layouts.
Sales Order Attachments
As an order processor I want to be able to review the sales order attachments from the buyer, without the need to login to Sana Admin so I can review the details of the order.

Adding the /admin to the URL that arrives in the ERP when a customer adds an attachment during the checkout to enhance security, only makes the sales order processing in the ERP more cumbersome for the order processors that should only have access to it and not a shop account in Sana (as the /admin basically forces us to create shop accounts for these users).

If the purpose of this feature is to increase/ensure security policies, the functionality should be rebuilt to store the added order documents directly in the ERP and not in Sana.

Additionally, giving Sana accounts to all order processors is not an option, even though it's just "shop account creators". The current Shop Account roles can result in a bigger security risk than just allowing them to see the attachments directly from ERP. It would be great to also consider specific shop account roles to only download these documents.

File Manager allowed file extensions
When my customer tried to use the Sana File Manager to upload a .tar.gz file, they found they were unable to. This is a problem because they have many .tar.gz files containing technical documentation that they received from their supplier.

When I asked Sana Support whether they could allow .tar.gz files to be uploaded, I was told it would require either SDK or ADK development, which surprised me as it seems like a list of allowable file extensions could easily be held in site configuration.

Idea: Please add the ability for allowed file extensions in the Sana File Manager to be configurable, either directly through the Platform Portal, or in response to partner ticket requests.

View Shop Accounts that activated discounts
There is no way to view the shop accounts that have redeemed their discount code. It would be a great asset to have this, so we can easily view their accounts.

Change video sizes in element (height or width)
Possible improvements for the video content element: the moment it is only possible to add a video without changing the height of the element. Therefore the video is very large in the screen. Users will need to scroll down a lot in order to see products or anything else. When showing a video in a full width and smaller height, products can still be visible. This problem is mainly for desktop users. We preferred a 30cm wide video with a height of 10cm, this is not possible to achieve at the moment. Thank you in advance.
Feature Request: Improved Text Readability Over Images - Alpha Channel for Colours
To ensure text remains easily readable, especially when placed over images that can vary with screen sizes, it's crucial to maintain sufficient contrast. While adding a solid background colour to text is a current workaround, it's not always the most aesthetically pleasing solution.

Could you please explore implementing support for an alpha channel in colour hex codes (e.g., RGBA or 8-digit hex)? This would allow for semi-transparent backgrounds for text elements, significantly improving text legibility on diverse image backgrounds while offering more flexible and visually appealing design options.
Enable Support for Locally Hosted Video Playback
Currently, Sana Commerce does not support video playback from locally hosted files. This limitation affects our ability to showcase product videos, tutorials, and promotional materials stored internally on our servers.

We would like to request the addition of a feature that allows embedding or linking to videos stored within the local environment of the Sana Commerce installation, such as via a file path or internal URL. This would be especially useful for B2B stores that need to display secure, internal-only video content without relying on external platforms like YouTube or Vimeo.

Such a feature would greatly enhance flexibility and improve content delivery for customers.

Import option for advanced shipping costs by postal codes
If I wanted to use the advanced shipping costs by postal code, in our case, I had to manually add approximately 10000 entries one-by-one via the add / duplicate button.
This is obviously not a reasonable approach.
A simple import option (CSV or similar) is required to make this feature usable.
